Definitions
Operator or we means SMART MARKETING CONCEPT S.R.L. User or you means any individual or legal entity accessing the Platform. A coupon or discount code is an alphanumeric code or promotional offer providing a discount or benefit at a listed merchant. Partner stores are merchants whose offers appear here. A user account provides additional features; a company account provides extended rights to manage offers. An affiliate link contains an identifier used by an affiliate programme.
The service
eCUPON aggregates coupons, discount codes and promotions from Romanian and international online stores. Users can browse stores and categories, copy codes, save Black Friday store favourites and subscribe to the newsletter. eCUPON provides information; it does not sell the listed products or services and is not a party to purchases between users and merchants. The merchant is responsible for products, services, delivery and returns.
Eligibility and access
You must be at least 16 years old, accept these terms and have the legal capacity required for purchases from merchants. Basic browsing is free and does not require an account. We may restrict or suspend access if these terms are breached. Uninterrupted availability is not guaranteed.
User accounts
You can create a free account using a valid email address, an optional name and a secure password of at least eight characters. Provide accurate, current information, keep your credentials confidential and notify us immediately of unauthorised access or a compromised account. You are responsible for activity under your account. You can request account deletion through My account or by contacting us; personal data is handled according to the privacy policy.
Company accounts
Stores and companies can apply to manage their offers. Create a standard account, submit company information such as name and tax ID, and await review and approval. Companies are responsible for the accuracy of their offers. False, misleading or expired offers are prohibited. We may moderate or remove non-compliant content.
Coupons and offers
Listings may come from merchants, affiliate networks such as Profitshare and 2Performant, checked public sources or companies with accounts. eCUPON does not guarantee that a coupon works at every moment, that displayed savings remain exact, that offers stay available, that promotions can be combined or that every purchase meets the merchant conditions. Check conditions and expiry directly with the store and report codes that do not work.
Affiliate links and editorial policy
We may receive a merchant-funded commission when you follow a link and make a purchase. This does not add an eCUPON fee to your price and helps keep the service free. Networks may include Profitshare, 2Performant, CJ Affiliate and other partners. We aim to present offers objectively and keep them current, without favouring stores solely because they pay higher commissions.
Intellectual property
The eCUPON brand and logo, site design, structure, source code, original text, articles and graphics are protected intellectual property. Without prior written permission, you must not reproduce or distribute our content, use the eCUPON brand commercially, systematically extract data for commercial purposes or create an imitation of the Platform. Merchant logos and brands belong to their respective owners and are used for information and identification.
User conduct
Use the service lawfully, supply accurate account information, respect other users and do not disrupt the Platform. Unauthorised system or data access, malware, unapproved bots or scrapers, false or unlawful content, defamation, impersonation, manipulation of ratings or statistics, spam and unauthorised advertising are prohibited.
Liability
SMART MARKETING CONCEPT S.R.L. and eCUPON are not responsible for expired or non-working coupons, differences in savings, merchant product or service quality, delivery, returns or warranties, external website content, financial losses from using the service, interruptions or lost account data. To the extent permitted by law, total liability for a claim related to the Platform is limited to EUR 100 or its RON equivalent. The service is provided as is and as available, without express or implied warranties.
Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless SMART MARKETING CONCEPT S.R.L., its employees, directors and partners from claims, losses, damages or costs, including reasonable legal fees, arising from your breach of these terms, misuse of the Platform, infringement of third-party rights or unlawful activity through your account.
Changes to these terms
We may amend these terms to reflect legislation, service changes, clarification or market and technology developments. Significant changes will be announced by email to account holders or on the Site. Continued use after publication constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Applicable law and disputes
Romanian law governs these terms. The parties will first seek an amicable solution through direct negotiation; otherwise, competent Romanian courts will resolve disputes. The former EU Online Dispute Resolution platform closed on 20 July 2025. Current information on consumer redress is available through the European Commission consumer-redress website.
